My educational thoughts:

Best way to learn is to do and say. This creates long term memory. Our year 2 students are baking bread to learn about bread. The fun and enjoyment of this exercise is an invaluable learning experience. The success is the casual conversations that persist in this process. Tip for teachers- stand back and listen and you will be amazed at the discourse the happens in your class when children are intrinsically motivated to learn. Remember the best way to learn is to do and say. Make most of your lessons 'a do and say lesson' if that is possible.
