About Us
OUR SCHOOL:
We are a large Primary school situated in Manurewa, a southern suburb of Auckland, New Zealand.
We are in a rapidly growing area of the largest City in N.Z.— Manukau City.
Our school is very Multicultural and we provide educational programmes in several different languages. Our school’s Philosophy is under-pinned by the strong belief in nurturing a student’s first language as a “bridge” to quick and effective learning of a second language {English}. This then enables students to reach their fullest potential in learning more quickly.

We have 39 classrooms with a total Roll of 900 students. There has been a steady increase in roll growth over the past years so it has been necessary to put in place an ENROLMENT POLICY based
on area (5 years ago .)
RESOURCES:
This is a particularly well resourced school where all needs and requests are met if they will enhance
the learning opportunities for students. The Board of Trustees have provided the following
resources over and above the usual funding for school programmes:
A Computer Suite as well as 2 or 3 computers in every room
A fully networked Computer system throughout the whole school
A Community Room A Counsellor
A Social Worker Specialist Teachers

Bilingual Maori for Years 1 to 7 ( TE ROOPU REO RUA)
Samoan Bilingual for Years 1 to 8 (O LE TAIALA)

Arts (DRAMA,MUSIC, DANCE,ART)
We have a strong affiliation to most Sporting Codes and also offer Special Boys Education,
Adult Literacy,Numeracy and Study Skills Programmes.
OUR STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REACH THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL BOTH ACADEMICALLY AND PHYSICALLY.
