Welcome to A5's Page

On this page, you will find all sorts of things we do as a class. We hope to share our work with you. Should you have any questions or queries, please see the class teacher for more information.

For Term 1, our Ngā Hau e Whā Tahi unit topic is "Courteous Communities", which will incorporate our New Zealand Curriculum Key Competencies of "Managing Self" and "Relating to Others". The values are "Manaakitanga" and "Respect".

We have used the Snapchat application to take the photos of ourselves, then we used it for our holiday stories on glasses publishing sheets. You are welcome to come into our class to read what we have written.

Learning through art:

We learnt how to use an ink brush on paper.

We learnt that the use of paint brushes are different from ink brushes.

We learnt how to use recycled foams for our hair.

We used a variety of mediums (art materials) for our portraits.
